THE CAR THAT COULD DRIVE UPSIDE DOWN
The difference between designing a champion machine or a tailender is aerodynamics. The C38 was built with a different approach to aerodynamics. The C38 is equipped with advanced aerodynamic parts, which create heavy downforce as well as a refined airflow to help reduce drag. In fact, the C38 creates enough aero downforce that it could theoretically drive upside down.
3-D PRINTED CARBON FIBER
Our engineers push the limits of Formula 1 innovation by using 3-D printers to produce all of our carbon fiber parts in-house. From front wings to brake ducts, suspension components to engine covers—breakthroughs in 3-D printing has streamlined our engineering process and kept production in-house, ensuring the Formula 1 engineers maintain total control.
MASTERS OF PHYSICS
Double Wishbone Suspension
Without ever needing to take their hands off the wheel, drivers can change gears almost instantaneously to keep the C38 within its power band.
C38 DRIVERS CHANGE GEARS 4,000 TIMES IN A SINGLE RACE
The C38 is equipped with an eight-speed quick-shift carbon gearbox which allows our team of Formula 1 drivers to shift up or down with the flip of a paddle. This seamless technology is also used on our Quadrifoglio line of vehicles—allowing drivers to keep both hands on the wheel and their pedal to the floor.
DRIVERS ENDURE COCKPIT TEMPERATURES UP TO 122° FAHRENHEIT
Seats? There’s one. Radio? Nope. Air conditioning? It’s called the wind. The truth is, you aren’t going to find any of the luxury features within our C38 that you’ve come to expect in our Quadrifoglio lineup. The cockpit of the C38 is all business and serves as the command center for all of its components.
